Join Us For Our 2026 Spring Open House!
We’re as excited as ever to welcome you to our HO scale model of the Columbia Gorge and surrounding areas. We’ve been hard at work since last fall, and would like to invite you back to our wonderful layout in our first show as a non-profit and charity!
The Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Historical Society is celebrating 78 years of model railroading with its annual Spring Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 2nd and 3rd at 2505 N. Vancouver Ave., Portland.
We have timed entry periods for general admission in order to provide the best possible experience and minimize congestion. The time on each ticket reflects entry time. VIP tours begin at 8:30, and are followed by 30 minutes of private viewing before we open our doors to the rest of our visitors.
Prices
VIP Tours (Guided tour behind the scenes of our club, roughly 1 hour) - $25 per person.
Adult (Age 12+) General Admission - $12 per person.
Child (Age 3 through 11) General Admission - $5 per person.
Children under the age of 3 come along free Group Admissions

Location
We have limited onsite parking, including accessible spaces and a bike rack, with additional curbside parking opportunities in the neighborhood. We are also easily accessed by bus via routes 4 and 44.
